So it was just a matter of slowly making the game more known, and at that point, kino always wins. The more I think about the third reset arc the more I think about Maya being related to Sensei. I'm prolly wrong but then I think about the event where Sana, Sara and Ayane were hanging out in the dorm room and Sensei had a schizo moment when he narrated how he also had somebody he wanted to protect, and the connection to this is that Ayane was present during the third reset while pregnant with Sensei's kid, and I'm starting to think only the people related to Sensei can be present during a reset event. How do you solve the puzzles without looking up guides? Are you supposed to scan every frame for what might be clues and screenshot it or is there a tell when clues happen?
>>568569558Yeah, you basically just want to start noting down every number or instructions or whatever else you see in the background. It's like a pseudo "you're paying attention and not skipping scenes, right?" check, so with a little legwork you can get most of the way there. Once you're actually thinking this way and keeping an eye out things get a lot easier, although there's almost always going to be something you overlook. And when you do overlook something, in general clues start showing up when a reset is getting closer, so the rule of thumb as supported by God is that you work backwards from the escape room. So re-read the scene leading into the puzzle, reread the scenes before it, etc while keeping an eye out for stuff that could be interpreted as instructions or answers. It's fairly rare for like you to need to remember or recall stuff from SUPER long ago. I'd say that for someone not paying attention or thinking about them at all, the puzzles will seem impossible, but if you are observant and care then they will seem 95% possible and 5% impossible. And for that 5%, basically it's fine to look up answers. It's whatever. It's also fine to look up answers immediately if you just don't care at all, since puzzles are explicitly meant to be abrasive and piss the player off rather than be good, but I think that kind of apathy would probably bleed into the rest of the game, so I would be wary of it. Making apathetic people who don't care to think or pay attention quit is kind of his goal.
