It seems as if doing the labors makes you more selfish in the middle, not really, but when she was a big sister she seemed more worried about what the lack of great siblings did to the middle since they were in the ruins but then the great brother tells her that a little sacrifice is fine between family. The great brothers help her defeat the giant fire monster that killed one of them earlier in the ruins, and Outis sacrifices the great brother to land a killing shot on the beast. She uses the feeling of envy and jealousy over the idea that her great brother would keep the sword to boost her power.
