Creating a being like Shadow almost certainly requires DNA from a blobian hedgehog to start out with, it can then be modified from there. Starting from scratch is far more difficult and unlikely. So I'm guessing Gerald used existing blobian hedgehog DNA and combined it with Doom's.Anon's OC does get something wrong though. She's female. Using female DNA to create a male is roughly twice as difficult as just using male DNA to create a male. And the one thing Gerald did not have is time. Maria was dying and he was desperate. I always compare Tails to Simon from Gurren Lagann. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, as a whole, encompasses Sonic 2 to Sonic Adventure (plus Cosmo from Sonic X, I guess), and even Tails seeing Sonic "die" in SA2 and Forces and both versions of the fallout from that, and the entire first half is essentially Tails' story from SA1. But if Gurren Lagann is like the ultimate expanded version of Tails' story, what I really wanna find is the ultimate expanded version of Amy's story from Sonic CD to Sonic Adventure. Like, a character and story that somehow checks all the boxes of being like a Minnie Mouse version of a corresponding male character, is a love interest where romance is the whole point, is very overtly feminine, embodies the "emotional truth" of the narrative, and starts as a damsel in distress but -also- gains her own personal agency and grows into an action heroine that can do what the corresponding male action hero can do. But that gets very very very difficult to find because ... Sonic is a flat-character, he is the catalyst of change for others. Tails is the growth/development character who changes throughout the story, from A to B. But Amy is -both at the same time-. Internally, Amy is a flat character just like Sonic, she embodies the emotional truth of the story and impacts other characters through that. But at the same time, her initial lacking in capability and damsel role meant she had to eventually gain the physical capability to take action herself as a heroine that can do what Sonic does without needing to be saved. So I'd need to find the perfect example of a female love-interest/romance coded character who starts as a damsel and becomes an independent action heroine, while also being very strongly tied to and defined by a corresponding male character, and she herself must be extremely overtly feminine without ever losing that or the emotional truth she embodies from the start.Is there anyone who matches exactly what I am looking for?
