Finally got around to playing FW. It's really good. Can't clear the extra stage though. Feels like runner up for hardest one after LOLK, and I've cleared every extra 4-18. Any tips? Been using the EoSD stone
I know the point of Fossilized Wonders is being anti-AI but the backgrounds are distractingly hideous because of it and it was used to a way bigger extent than I thought it would be. I won't be buying the next one if it uses it just for the sake of my eyes. The danmaku is also piss poor. It's 90% chaotic speed slop. The music has really good ideas but it's ruined by poor melodies and eternal trumpet addiction.I just got done playing Mountain of Faith and wanted to try the newest one and the difference is night and day.

Can't believe I had to play on easy. This game feels pretty good to actually play. The patterns and movement in general feel very smooth. I would rate the music at most 7/10. I enjoyed the spell cards and the stages being short. Mostly because the stage patterns are so fucking cancerous. Idk. I'd really like auto bomb in th. Also I can't adjust settings to get more lives/bombs. Continue being a stage restart is also gay.
