Another insulting aspect about mechanist, rifle in this case since everyone tends to default to it, is that they don't have to trait for piercing for their weapons. Wows pet system is good, but it still feels shallow. It feels like every pet should have a family skill AND a unique skill but they shrimplified it to have no flavor by making all pets just 1 of 3 types (which is kind of a good thing because you arent penalized for picking the one you thinks looks cool generally)

i really don't know why they don't do this and just leave the existing "go find and tame a pet" thing as skins you can swap out with the existing interface. they clearly cannot handle trying to balance the pets available in game.

Its not just GW2, or mmos. Its EVERY game. Game devs genuinely just make options so bland or poorly balanced they become unusble.

Another example is like rare crafting recipes that take 5 hours of getting mats to craft but get immediately replaced by a common item if you had just played the main story instead of trying to engage with the content that goes there.

It feels like "fake content" where they make something bad on purpose so it looks like they are adding someone while adding nothing.

I hate how limited you feel in playing your class with non-Celestial stats until you're completely decked in full legendary armor/sigils/runes/trinkets/relics, like I've never played anything besides Assassin on Rev even once since I'm so specialized for it that it feels stupid to try running Demon even though it looks fun. Same with Air and Earth on Ele and honestly the majority of weapons too.

4 years last month, I started right when End of Dragons first came out but it's been on and off since. I am decked out in leggies for my medium armor classes since those are my most played but the other two have very little, and I almost feel like it's a viscous cycle since you'll end up trying to specialize into one thing randomly but then have sunk gold fallacy about changing everything out. I'm glad they added the WvW robot to make changing gear a cheaper but you can still get fucked on TP runes and sigils if you're unlucky enough for a build you want to try needing them.

I don't know man, that's more than enough time to accumulate resources to just craft things at your leisure for exotics at least. Obtaining ascended gear is also a lot more plentiful as well compared to back then with the wizard vault, vendors, and through achievements. Accessories and back items are basically free with Living story vendors. All that leaves is crafting the odd rune/sigil/relic every now and then. This is either a skill issue or just pure laziness, I really feel like you're spending more gold than you need to
