So there's no more Time Patrol in XV3 right? I hope that means we can get away from the usual LOOK OUT NAPPA IS PURPLE AND STRONGER storyline. Hopefully they finally realize that people want fun What If stories after the positive reception they had in Sparking Zero.
>>569159662Time Patrol isn't the issue with Xenoverse. The issue's how safe and unimaginative the what-ifs are. The villains could've been causing all sorts of crazy scenarios to happen. Towa could've helped the saiyans overthrow Frieza and set them on the path to wiping out the universe, so you gotta fight hordes of saiyans on Planet Vegeta, uncover some crazy saiyan lore, maybe fight a dark super saiyan god (maybe Goku), and set things right again. The sky's the limit. Unfortunately, the writers were either unwilling or unable to bring themselves to do wacky shit like that. And while Sparking Zero's better about it's what-ifs, it's still incredibly lacking.

I don't think they'd ever do entire alternate histories and stuff, but it'd be nice if we at least got more stuff like that.I hope at the very least we get some of the stupid Heroes stuff, but that's Time Patrol adjacent so probably not.
