It's not even the wasting 5 or 10 minutes going through the various loading screens. It's the 15+ minutes it takes getting back online. Sometimes it's quick but sometimes coming from SP I can't connect to online so it keeps reloading SP and dumping me in there. Then hopefully I just have to close and restart the game but then sometimes it starts giving me shit about verifying ownership so I have to restart my computer. I'm normally fine if I go straight into online but going to single player at all fucks my shit up senpai

Well it might be obvious, but if you have a lot of background processes running make sure you turn them off, especially if it's a web browser, since that dealt a huge blow to my game connection. It's definitely the worst connection for any game I've ever played but you have to take it or leave it. I don't really have a lot of problems like what you've described anymore. I don't know if they were related to me running browsers in the background but the battleye thing just doesn't happen anymore. I don't remember the verifying ownership problem being a hassle, but I have had the game say it can't retrieve my save data. Rockstar recommends a process that can take like 20 minutes where you do a clean boot of your PC then verify game files through your launcher. I've done that and it worked, but I was told you can just delete your profile folder from documents, which I've done ever since, and it's WAY faster and worked every time I did it. Bare in mind I had every problem you described in the past, and I just simply don't anymore, so if I had to guess, bufferbloat was probably a part of it.

The battleye kicking problem I've heard affects everyone in the session of a modder (can't confirm). Last I played there was definitely a sudden increase in modders (picrel). For whatever reason they come in waves, but post battleye, I fortunately have gone months without seeing any. Same can't be said for the game prior to enhanced.

No other video game in human history requires this much bullshit in order to get its basic functions to work. And if it doesn't work now for me I wait 2 minutes and it will work flawlessly. Then it might do the same thing again. There is no other video game in existence that has this many problems just connecting you to other people. Again, this is a company worth over 10 billion fucking dollars with a product that's been out for over 12 years and it's still this broken.
It feels like there's an RNG whether or not you can launch a lobby fine or it will be stuck in infinite loading.
I've been in a Pacific Standard heist and a level 20 who joined teleported all cars to us and blew us all up. Did he get a kick? No. My friend who has no modded tools did get kicked by battleeye because he dared to go alt tab for 2 seconds. But that asshole doesn't.

Decided to try to see if I could do that again intentionally, so I returned to where my car was parked, and accessed the same mission invite on the phone. Instead of going to the mission menu, it gave a splash like a deathmatch was starting, and left me at the launch point of a deathmatch at the airport.

Checking my situation, and I was still solo in free roam, regardless of what the text had said. Went about my business, emptying safes, and eventually decided to check on my acid lab inventory. Game said it was already nearby, which was weird because the last time I called it was on the other side of the city. So I checked the map, and somehow it had moved from that Binco parking by the car wash all the way to a cart path at the golf course.

I'd personally pester them a bit about it, and press them asking if they can rollback your account. I would keep pressing until they escalate the ticket to level 2 since they all start at level 1, and the first responses they use now are at least sometimes AI (I know this because the replies are immediate). Press them based on the assumption that there MUST be something they can do, and even argue with them (as generously as you can). If the tier 1 support people actually don't know they might escalate it to the next level based on that alone. Can't promise anything but I would at least test this.

I assume you mean getting back in a lobby after you finished/failed/quit a mission or heist. It's straight up minutes only to get put in an empty lobby.
This garbage needs an option to be put in an invite only lobby once you complete a job in a public session to skip all this garbage.
