regarding graves, i think it's time to admit that 99% of the playerbase is just terrible at the game. i don't say that lightly, like hurr durr anything under E6 is shitlow teehee, i mean genuinely i think most people playing this game cannot play their pool at a basic leveloverwatch has an autoaim character in moira, and has never had this issue where she fluctuates between useless and OP depending on whether she gets nerfed or buffed on a new patch. this is because most OW players can consistently get value out of more difficult characters. but in deadlock it's easy to get value out of her compared to other heroes, and people are so terrible at the game that she seems overwhelmingly powerful when she's a functional character since anyone can perform well on her and they're probably going up against at least 2 players who can't play their character at all. the kit is fine and wouldn't be out of place in any moba, nobody would notice or care about graves in league or dota. this is a deadlock issue, people are actually just fucking awful at it despite all the youtube guides and being readily available to get invite access to for almost 2 years now.so we come to the big question: what's wrong with deadlock players? why are they so bad? thoughts?

I'm a Gravesfag, I think the nerf is fine. Bad players who don't know how to clear skulls effectively will still get fucked, good players who know the "let them hit you and light melee once to clear them all in one go" strat will take less burst damage and be rewarded for knowing how to counterplay her kit. She'll become worse at higher elos while staying strong at lower ones, which is fair, and ultimately echo shard 2 is just too good for the urn brools for her to drop below like 54% overall winrate I'd guess.
