I didn't hate heros at first, and I even thought that the destiny and evil heros were cool when I was youngerI liked the idea of multiple different archetypes using the same base main deck archetype to fuse into different stuffI still think that the idea of the same archetype having completely different end boards due to their preferences in sub archetype has potentialbut I've grown to despise herosevery single one has been slopped into one gross amalgamation, they constantly get support to the point that it would be weird if they didn't get support multiple times a year, and none of that support is every interesting we are never going to get equips or spell support for specific monsters like in >>568998581 simply because it is unlikely to be good and can't be slopped into the usual hero deck without effort and running the named cards they were made foradmittedly, D heros didn't have much identity beyond using the main deck more than E heros, but why didn't they capitalize on that difference and keep them as separate archetypes?the evil heros are mostly fiends and their original cards were generic enough for me to consider mixing them with other fiend or rock decks, but then they threw it all away with the recent support that gave a hero lock and generic hero application which condemned the archetype to be forever slopped into the hero pileI would have rather it had an evil hero lock just to prevent it from entering the amalgamationthey could have kept it separate and focused on the non-archetype cards they could have been mixed withit is entirely on-brand for evil heros and dark world to be in the same deck with how it was originally designed both in lore and in gameplaybut that will never happen now that they've been mixed into the hero pile and given generic hero locks on their cards, the fate of all hero archetypes
