Everytime AH has tried to 'correct' balancing they simply made ways of playing worse or unviable (for instance the multiple hits stealth took over time). It depends on the kind of match you want. Stick together, get an objectively harder fight but with more wacky scenarios and peaks, or split in to duos while communicating your tactics and joining up when needed. Have a match where everyone tries to take out a quadrant of the map solo. A big part of HD2s early success was that it appealed to so many disparate playstyles. If AH wants more co-op, they should add more fun co-op options. Tank was a good step, because once people realise how powerful it is with 3 players they will stick together. The game already detects this and how close you are to other squadmates, so unless you want Stalkers up your ass or some kind of ninja assassin cyborg/those dark templar squids from the leaks you have to stick with your team. Not saying they should be hard or uncounterable, but if you go solo you should have a somewhat different experience being 'hunted' by air patrols and shit rather than typical patrols. They can't change the fundamental idea of allowing soloing because this was just a consequence of the game design no longer having the 'shared screen' from the first game. But they did literally nothing to compensate for that massive advantage, I think having some kind of specialized patrols would be the easiest solution

I mean, the aliens are kinda spot on: weird, psychic creatures with something that resembles nanotechnology (said to be a key trait of the squids in the first game) which borders on magic with how weird it is, human enslavement and experimentation, semi-ritualistic killing and torture, atmospheric technology and megastructures, and unknowable objectives other than genociding people, even the six limbs for the datamined cultists. Except, that the squids we got are just far lamer because they just don't really have enough meat on them to really come across as the formidable and underhanded enemy that they are supposed to be, which imo is just better reflected on this short than on anything ever done on the actual game

If enemies are too close or move too much it will completely miss.I use it a lot against the illuminate since it one taps overseers and watchers, can two shot stingrays, and three shot fleshmobs. It will often splash kill voteless while killing off fleshmobs and overseers. It struggles against harvesters and squid mechs so I just mag dump those hoping it gets a kill. For bugs, it works until it doesn't. When attacking at range, it can pick off guards, warriors, and brood commanders and splash kill smaller bugs. When the bugs get close, the wasp becomes useless. I haven't had much luck with chargers and bile titans and have to spend tons of ammo on them or kill with something else. Impalers aren't bad as the rockets generally hit the face and kill them quickly.It sucks dick against bot heavies. Hulks from the front eat rockets and tanks shrug them off. Factory striders? LOL! You need luck to hit hulk eyes and good positioning to hit hulk and tank vents, which you lose when they aggro. Devastators are ok targets but there are better weapons for those that can also threaten tanks and hulk more, like the railgun.

Did they break all turrets with the latest patch? They seem to take forever now to start shooting. I had a rocket and AC turret down and I was kiting a hulk around them for a good 15 seconds before they even turned toward it. No other enemies around and they only shot at the hulk.
