Raito has a yes man digimon while Tomoro has one that clashes with him. Despite that Tomoro is in sync with Gekkomon while Raito struggled to control Monodramon. I get that there's a dark mirror thing going on but I'm not sure I fully get it. Raito becomes all inspired by Tomoro only for Tomoro to fail to meet his expectations next time they see each other and I don't really get how those expectations started in the first place. Tomoro is an actual idiot in the show and he just seemed to lock in when he was up against Raito.
