If by chance someone reading this gets to talk to Hamaguchi, please tell him to consider adding some form of day/night cycle for the inevitable Revelation post game content. Even it's just a "wait" function that allows you to pick morning, noon and night. I can't deal with the baked in lighting for another 150+ hour game that is also the last game we get. >>569710896I recommended this to another anon a while back, but if you need gil in FFXI, what you can do is just search the spells or the bard songs, and just one by one check which ones are selling for like 50k or more at least once per day, then check the wikis for where you can buy it at, and then buy it and put it on the auction house. Some sell pretty regularly for a very good mark up. NM drops usually sell for a lot too, if you get the rare one, but farming that is unreliable. There are also some like 5% drops that can sell for a fuck ton. I'm on Bahamut, and I was doing some quest. The one where you go to the bird castle. I kinda just liked the bird castle, so I farmed there a bit until I could kill everything. The last room of the bird castle had enemies that some jobs need for a quest and that respawn every 20 minutes or so. I was there leveling cuz I had out leveled the rest of it, and I just farmed those for a while and I found one of the WHM spells they dropped was selling for 1 mil each. So then I went back and farmed those guys a bunch and that's how I made like 20m and then I stopped caring about gil. When I logged in for the free login campaign, I checked those scroll again and they were only selling for 150k, so your server will vary on prices, of course.
