Yes. The maximum level is 7, but you can only inherit 6 levels. To reach level 7 you have to learn at least one level naturally.

Ranger Yuzu is comparable to a good pinless Yuzu but I am saving my CC item until lvl 80 before I try her with a hairpin.

I'm also waiting to get my Yuzu to level 70 to class change her to ranger. I couldn't get the pin with 100 bones but at least my yuzu has STR boon. It's not ideal for a ranger but could have been worse.
