But I don't think quof would understand that because he clearly didn't understand that the branches both games took are fundamentally different. and second, quof doesn't have even the bare minimum understanding of Toru's character, especially calling Toru' struggle with crowds just a "basic bitch social anxiety". he just... doesn't seem to understand that the crowd fear is a symptom. There is more info to be presented, and you just aren't given it yet. clearly the crowd fear isn't the root cause, but a lead to something bigger.

So when you have a bunch of people talking about how you somehow finished a VN three times faster than everyone else, you can't go "Oops, I skipped and didn't admit it until now," you just have to try not to think about it and play it off like "Haha yep I read fast."
