I firmly believe that Ketheric should've been the game's final boss (bar the Netherbrain). He's incredibly well written, a character whose motivations are clear and his past a thrill to piece together with every piece of lore we find. He's imposing, yet -ironically- vulnerable and feels layered, not unidimensional. He's evil, yes, but not for the sake of evilness itself, there's a deeper meaning to his actions than just "I want power!" Or "I love killing!". His lair, Moonrise Towers, is also the perfect setting to enhance the mystical component of the story. I mean, come on... Jaded, immortal general, fueled by pure hate, sitting on his throne, in the tower he himself commanded to build to show his devotion for a goddess who's daughter is now hunting him?! IT SCREAMS FINAL BOSS.How do you follow that?! Well, you don't. This fight was much more fun this time, and Wyll actually died. Thankfully the game allowed me to use a scroll to revive him. Tactician enhanced also made them use a bunch of items and abilities they don't normally use, very happy so far. A boost in enemy competency is exactly what this game needs.

Manthara is unironically a better romance than Shart. She looks like a man. So what? She's not the worst looking woman. I've seen worse. Haven't played since the new subclasses got introduced and I think swashbuckler sounds fun, especially paired with the warlock that lets you bind a weapon.I'm sure it's been done to death before but any recommendations on general progression for it? I figure starting with rogue and then maybe going two into warlock just so I can have a repelling eldritch blast as an option (environment kills were always the most fun in my previous playthroughs). I wasn't sure how deep to go into either class though or if dipping into a third would be more beneficial.

I only ever used it with range and always used sneak attack as an action, never a reaction.This time my melee barb is using it and nothing fucking works. I had to run away from Flind. I did everything the same way I've played the game a few times on honor mode, but the new mods made it so I had to drink an invisibility potion and retreat.I played around with the tactician enhanced options and enemies have about 200% hp and have a second action, so the gnolls doing their triple attacks and Flind doing the paralyze flail thing multiple times really added up quickly. What fun. bg3 is an overall fairly easy game so this has been a real treat.I did not have a problem before that point, did Anders, the gate fight, the beach fight, Tiny on the road, and Illyn Toth (this one was kind of close).I think I will do a full restart later since I messed up some stuff with the new character creation as well. Apparently the mystical initiate feats have an unintuitive way they are implemented, where they give you every spell the feat could possibly give you (which means every cantrip and every level 1 spell) and the first time you use one, that's the one it locks in as the one you learned...the mod author choosing to do things that way meant I doubled up on some cantrips and spells before I realized that's what it was doing.But overall that mod is great. Someone with great love for the game spent a long time updating every single class and even adding like a dozen subclasses. Very enjoyable to see that much effort and it really breathes a new bit into the game for a new playthrough.luv dis geam.

It is not portrayed positively.Larian tends to give the player the option to roleplay a character that is for or against various issues, and the player always has the option to side against the refugees, who are unreasonably invading someone's home and then telling him to fuck off from his own home. They are not portrayed positively, and you can side against them with no soapboxing from the game.I hope larian continues their actual trend of what they actually do, which is present various issues and give the player a wide variety of options to handle it however they like, which will include agreement or opposition, and both are viable.
