Going to be honest, I think that more than 60% of the complaints about Kim and the intervallo so far have just been either 'him' or 'them' seething like usual. It wasn't anything incredible, but it was fine. The only thing I'm actually a bit puzzled about is the fact that, despite being a 'focus' of the even alongside Meursault, Kim, etc. Faust barely interacted. Yi Sang did have some reminiscence about his time in S.Corp, but the most we have of Faust here is Dante noting that Faust is clearly lacking more and more answers by the Faustcord as time goes by, and a couple of 'I's that Faust slipped here and there

I liked Kim. But he needed more scenes. He suffered in the same way the Nursefathers did you could say. Kim's concept is unique but they didn't go all the way as they should've. He should've been assisting us in fights right from the get-go to showcase he's still powerful. Hell, you could even make it so that he runs away mid-fight for no reason to showcase that he likes to scurry away to more important shit that needs attention. His current interactions with Aeng-Du and the cast are already good I'd say, but he needs way more of them for it to solidify itself. just finished intervallo, what's the general community consensus to everything?-I don't mind his appearance/mannerisms but I would've preferred the stoic/hardened mentor that he was implied to be. He ended up feeling like a less charming Roland.-The boss was downright awful. She literally did not do anything ever. I started reading her passives and then thought I'm only bothering with this if it ends up mattering and it didn't, at all. I just outclashed her low numbers every turn until she died. No mass attacks (that she got to actually use), no relevant gimmicks, no visually cool unbreakable animations. NOTHING-Kim's efflorescenced ego is just...putting the hat on and a blue glow to the sword? Was that his actual ego or did we not get to see it? The 'climactic' final strike on Gyeong was also pretty flacid.-Ezra, Kim and Aeng Du being assists felt whatever. You didn't need them for anything and none of them did anything unique. Makes sense why they're participating story wise but the enemy count/strength didn't reflect it. Kim also barely used yield my flesh and the two times he did he didn't get to claim any bones.-Meursalt lore was good and Kim backstory was good enough, although it didn't really feel like it added much to him. Felt like it was whipped up to justify Gyeong existing in the future.Overall it was the non-existent boss and lackluster 'finale' for Kim that really drove down my enjoyment.
