You can have five translators look at the same text and come up with five different results. Sadly a LOT of laymen think one-to-one products are possible, and it's really not when you're dealing with a different language family altogether. There's always going to be some degree of interpretation. I'd like the mods better if they just stuck with the official scripts but modified only the parts that are certainly different in meaning, but they always completely overhaul even the areas that should be the same in favor of stilted "fan-translese" moments.

It doesn't matter if Blade of Courage isn't 1-1 with the games, it's the closest we've gotten since Sonic X, but I'll say Blade of Courage is the most nearest adaptation of the games in the franchise until something else comes along.
