There's an analytics firm called Alinea Analytics that estimates the game has sold around 4 million copies on Steam, 1 million on Xbox and around 200k on PS5 first week. Now these are just estimates, but it should be noted that they also claimed Ghost of Yotei sold 3 million in its first month, and then Sony confirmed it actually sold 3.3 million in its first month. Also they pretty closely estimated Expedition 33 sales numbers at 7.5 million first year, then the devs confirmed 8 million first year after. So they're not just pulling numbers out of their ass and have some sort method that can be in the ballpark of actual sales. According to them, Starfield has sold around 6.1 million across all platforms as of 2026. That's not great. And I doubt they're making much money of the creation club because of its low player count.

Also by "weight reductions" it means at max level having a pet gives you +15 carry capacity. Ultimately though this can be easily ignoredAlso do note that the pets must be leveled up and there is both a daily cap and a minute cap, meaning you must spend a good amount of time with them each day to level them up. If you want to max them out and get the daily cap each day it will take you about a year
