I started playing venator after like 200 games in a row of drifter because I really liked the simple gun character, and I am enjoying Venator as well. However, the issue is when I get into 1v1 fights with people, even with decent items at a decent range, even souls and I hold m1 on their body I do like 400 damage while they fucking nuke me with cooldowns and do 900~ damage just holding m1 on me in a few seconds whereas if I was playing drifter, i can comfortably fight and win against people 8k up on me even with low stacks. Is it just my accuracy or what? Or if you dont get to use Venator's cooldowns due to no walls nearby you aren't as effective as other characters who can throw out damage? It just feels like I am permanently doing 1/3 the damage of other characters and it is genuinely miserable.
