This debate annoys the fuck out of me because I literally watched Satam and there's literally another human in the show. Lazar is a human, and the dialogue clearly implies that even if you don't see them "humans" are the default species. "Human Complexity". Also, Satam and AOSTH did not use the term "mobian" to mean "talking animal" they just used it to mean "From mobias". Robotnik is a mobian. Archie didn't define mobian until AFTER Sonic X was out in the united states. The literal issue that brings up the concept of mobians has an advertisement for Sonic X in it. Archie didn't attempt to explain this whole thing until Sonic X. There was still the furries vs humans stuff though.
