Once you unlock an end path its open for followup NG Plus regardless of you missing certain scenes, but chances are you'll need to play through the game two or three times. Replay isn't so bad if you don't up the difficulty (and if you do kanami's ending *before* some of the others, thanks to a certain obnoxious gimmick) and don't try to spread yourself between everyone in one playthrough. Also, don't do the repeat scenes unless you are completely full on orbs and have nothing left to unlock.

The key is saving the orbs gained from free battles and having certain characters at the right heart level for specific chapter events, not all characters have heart requirements.
