I have long been playing blitz on "chess" and "lichess" and got to about 1900 "chess" playing only 3 minute games. I fluctuate from 1800-2100 but mostly closer to 1900.Recently I tried to play longer games (10m) and I found it extremely boring. I got to 2100 pretty easily, and then I started struggling. But it's not normal struggle of tactics or anything like that.My openings are very good, even though I don't really "know" any openings. I end up in "winning" (+2 or more) positions out of the opening very often.In the middle game I start to get bored. Often I have a very easily won game, but I can't focus. I start to think of other topics, or even play Minecraft while waiting for my "lost" opponent to make moves.This results in REALLY bad blunders. Not in complex tactics, or even simple tactics like forks or pins. I just capture a protected pawn that I thought was free at first glance. Or he brings a foolish attack on my queen, but my brain goes "What a silly move - it changes nothing" and then I continue with my plan COMPLETELY NEGLECTING TO MOVE THE QUEEN OUT OF DANGER.I know the "answer" is some kind of check-list like "before move, check for forks, pins, protected pieces, mate, etc." but the problem I don't seem to have a mind capable of such things.Did anyone else experience this?
