And then the visual clutter too making it slightly harder to detect target compared to a more orderly/smooth map (The uneven clutter and extra detail creates a lot of visual noise). This should have been a Forge creation instead, with all those environment assets being movable, like an outdoor Foundry. (Although we did get Sandbox)

You know I’m kinda sorta starting to understand why someone might prefer forerunners to be ancient aliens rather than ancient humans. I feel likeCE’s plot would feel less contrived, if a bit soulless, with some tweaks like making the ring encounter the first encounter with the forerunners and flood for both the covenant and humans, and getting rid of the whole reclaimer thing. It’s just a ring that was used millions of years ago to fuck up a universe ending parasite, and we were unfortunate enough to crash land onto it. As it is now having the ring simultaneously supposed to be inherited by humans while also being exactly what the covenant were searching for all these years is a bit too coincidental. That said, these changes wouldn’t really leave any room for sequels. What do you think fellas?
