Meanwhile in weird route, the implication before Chapter 5 was that you were forcing the conditions to come true by forcing Noelle into her intended role. However, all of Noelle's dialogue in 5's weird route directly implies that the heart is outright breaking Kris and Noelle out of what they were fated to do, the complete opposite of what we were expecting before.Did I misunderstand something? Is Weird Route the prophecy-defying route?

The only issue with chapter 1 is that it drags a tad during bigger fights since only Kris can ACT and that's all 95% of players are going to be doing. Though imo some of the fights in chapter 4 + 5 kinda dragged because of the TP being so scarce as well. I'm not a fan of this being the new meta.

The Hometown characters and the town itself still feel empty, uncanny, and false. As in, the Lightners all feel flat, zombified husks in comparison to the Darkners. Ralsei isn't a tree. Ralsei is part of the reservoir of darkness that exists under the town because of the meteor that the lake formed in the crater of. The plants absorbed darkness-tainted water through their roots, so they're familiar with Ralsei. Ralsei has no light world counterpart, like the Titans, and loses the ability to maintain their shapeshifted form when they're knocked out. They're basically just a formless mass of darkness.
I don't understand how Asgore's writing made it to the final game in this state, he has like 5 lines and this is supposed to be his chapter. I don't even fuck with Asgore like that he's always been a bum but this is just diabolical at this point.
