How hard do the event quests for base rise tend to be? I downgraded back to High rank gear to do a few, and got nearly oneshot with every hit from an event Magnamalo.I was using Goss helmet, anja chest, goss gauntlets, and rajang for the legs. Don'tt remember what I was using for waist, may have been also Goss. All of it max level, and I still got oneshot with the tail attacks. Should I gear up in elder equipment or does that magnamalo do that much damage? If it's the latter, I'll try again with my build and get good, but if I overestimated my old gear, I'll do a couple more hunts to build some better armor.

The mistake is making a character driven story when you're basically a bodyguard for a caravan of researchers. It should be more about digging up truths, finding out things about the world, and less about any individuals. Then as you discover everything and how it all works, they eventually piece it together that guardians are artificial instead of being told, but by now nature has been running its course for so long that they are indistinguishable from natural monsters. Then the finale is finding out that biggest plan was way back when and what it'll mean if it hatches, aka zoh shia. Arkveld then works not as some weird rival but as the rosetta stone like monster that helped everyone figure the truths I mentioned earlier through out the story. Now the story is an uncovering of old civilization stuff and how nature wins out in the end and life can grow from anywhere etc etc

I'm going through HR5 in Frontier (Renewal server) and I wanted to know if it was worth it to fully upgrade armour or if I can get by with just a few levels. I upgraded the kukobo/gogomoa armour to around 5-6 for the high rank version and that was a pain for two relatively easy to grind material armour sets. I'm going for the Gore/Narga/Seregios/Gougarf set for Greatsword and Hammer in the pre-G guide for HR 5-6. I know each of the exotic armours gives a good skill when fully upgraded but to be honest I think I'd rather castrate myself than grind exotic nargacuga a million times to get it to level seven.

>>572558935Depends on what you are looking for, I suggets to go for some of the older games as well since you can emulate them pretty easily, or go stright to rise.Base rise is bit middling, but Sunbreak Expansion is pretty great, and you have options to avoid wyvern riding.It also has rampages which are like tower defense if you do village quests you can skip a few for the Gathering hub. Highly recommended if you don't like rampages, they also don't appear in Sunbreak side.
