>>572483516I don't think it was unnecessary but it was done wrong.They should have lowered the spawn rates (even more than they did, in my opinion) and then buffed it's armor so people would be more inclined to go for the actual minigame weakspot instead of just tossing C4 or dumping levellers in the middle to kill it. That would also require them fixing it's animations to make it more consistent though because the VOX engine was more than likely to just twist itself to cover the vents, making it impossible to hit them anyway.Nobody in their right mind could honestly want the Cyberstan VOX engine rates back. It wasn't fun to just get shredded on extract, flag or Eradicate missions for minutes straight until you run out of reinforcements.
