Just finished chapter 5 and haven't been here since it dropped. What's everyone reception to it been like? For me:>Story was mediocre but the gameplay section was the most fun it ever was>weird route being cut is bullshit but the parts we got were good>Flowery and a few of the other flowers were nice, but Flowery carried>Did we always knew Susie lived in school?Those were about the only things of note. There's a surprisingly little amount of story for chapter 5. You'd think this would be the turning point where the reveals start dropping. It's never a good sign when it's saved for the end. It typically means the overarching story isn't big enough for such a big series.
I'm insanely happy that Noelle says Kris and not the unfunny pun name I inputted all the way back in 2018.

My two biggest problems with chapter 5 are1) Save point locations are terrible. They just suck in this chapter, some of them are just way too far apart.2) The warp doors should become active WAAAAY sooner. Only making them active right near the end of the chapter is a super dumb and annoying decision.

Chapter 3 is my most dreaded chapter to replay but it had some seriously creepy moments. The 1225 room, the Ralsei cutscene with Friend, the Knight appearance... And it's a fun 'goofy' chapter. I still need to marinate on it before being overly negative but Chapter 5 just needed a bit more edge for me even if it has done of my favorite humor and gameplay.
