The story has been dogshit ever since they started doing rewrites. Palette and Mamonir are the only decent additions to this game in a year. Played MP1 and thought it was bad. I think it is a horrible way to start the game for a new player. It was 98% dialogue with backtracking in a dark forest and 4 fights. I honestly don't really see the problem with burst. To me it actually makes sense because for the longest time in this game for most FHs you would just end up sitting on 20/20 SP past your first team making SP management useless a lot of the time. Now I actually have to think about how SP since I'm sitting much closer to zero and I expect that to get even more true as I get more bursts unlocked.
