The CATA Revamp just made half of their zones popculture jokes & really childish humor. The human’s iconic Paladin theme was completely ignored & given to the Neutral Argent Crusade. The Knights of the Silver Hand were completely ignored for YEARS on the Alliance.Dalaran/KirinTor which was the classic Human/Alliance “wizard” faction is entirely neutral now. They rejoined the Alliance for like 2 minutes in MOP but it’s pretty much meaningless now.Night Elves also were massively watered down. They’re no longer savage/feral elves. They have never been portrayed as the Alliance’s “counter” to the Forsaken. Being the Alliance minority on the Horde dominated contintent. They NEVER managed to be dominant in the same way the Forsaken were in the EK despite being that being the Alliance’s dominated continent. So is there any way to launch ascension without admin stuff at this point? When I played last you needed it for the launcher to update but you could skip it for the game itself by opening the client directly. Now all I find in the install folder is a custom ascension client that also wants admin permission.
