For some reason, they also refused to learn anything from Rice Lunchsteak, even though both games were made on the same engine and Rice had already solved multiplayer, endgame, and UI issues ages ago.The end result was this bloated, confused movie game with neither good graphics nor a compelling story. The optimization was somehow even worse most people's PCs couldn't run it, yet the game still looked like it came straight out of the PS2 era. What a horrible nightmare. while wilds is garbage for a lot of reasons, i don't think focus is conceptually badthe problem is it's movement isn't restricted like other movements (in speed and reach), some attack animation should be movement locked at some point, and there shouldn't be a gimmick tied to iti mean you can technically adjust your direction with the stick while doing a GS charge in FU within a limited angle, you can also slightly move within a combo on most weapons

I do not like 4th gen. The monsters are way too fast and flexible with no real downtime or openings (unless you force them with the retarded gimmicks mounting and styles) and the maps are next to unplayable because of verticality.

If you dodge something it's usually already too late to get a lv2 or golf swing. Shit like Rathalos or Zamtrios makes me stop my session afterwards to go do something else for a while and calm down.
