Honestly I remember the fight pretty fondly. The first phase being a warm up for the second one where she gets a third turn and starts countering several mechanics that would normally mitigate her damage make her brutal if you aren’t prepared. Her biggest weaknesses is that she can get stat downed and that all of her attacks that don’t deal carnage damage don’t benefit from her ability to bypass elemental resistances which gives some breathing room.

I went about it by giving characters a 1 page limit on jobs in parts 1 and 2, 2 page limit on MW/AW, and 3 page limit in chaos route. Hard cap except for specific characters that merge and get all the jobs of the mergees Lilith and Eden. They've got 4.5 pages. If I need to fit something into the build but would go over the 3 page limit, I'll use cheese to skirt around certain things. Things like bypassing the hero of justice requirement for captain shield, the temple knight and holy knight requirement for divine dragoon, and having to have both saintly prostitute and devilish prostitute for QOBF. As long as a weapon master type character has most of the requirements, I'll cheese it on to them (I'll also cheese the dual wielding enhancer abilities onto them to skirt around them having to level ninja and thief if it doesn't fit the image I'm going for with them). For grand all-rounder/jack of all trades, I'll tend to focus on just either front-end or back-end jobs. It might seem like doing all that would make characters busted, which it definitely can, but it tends to get equaled out by the characters having less proofs than they normally would. 3 pages also tends to be the sweet spot just before characters go full omniblob.

it’s still trtr’s fault for having zero foresight in how his design choices would pan out but I saw a ton of anons who were used to coasting through the game suddenly struggle to kill anything on very easy because they never actually learned the battle system, and they resorted to grinding proofs so they could keep unga bungaing everything rather than just playing the jrpg the normal way (one even complained that the game expecting him to HAVE BUILDS was bad design when he got stonewalled at the demiurge fight), so at some point it turns into a skill issue if you have to resort to it.
