I feel like completely ditching the target indicator in favor of every attack doing randomly assigned damage was a massive mistake when both could coexist just fine. Having some bosses be able to target down a single member (putting more or less pressure on your to dodge better depending on how pivotal they are to the fight) and also having some Armor that can make a member more likely to be targeted in exchange for benefits like increased TP Gain while Grazing or getting hit healing the other two allies a slight amount. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised at Deltarune seriously neglecting its RPG elements at this point but it's really annoying that they set up a unique system tailor made for more interesting decision making and then ditched it after a single Chapter.
