Of course, I don't need to explain how this ties into Gaster being Toby's avatar alongside the Annoying Dog, and Gaster being directly related to the Devil. The switch SOUL has become more important in hindsight. Switch SOUL? "Switched" SOUL perhaps? Mew Mew repurposed as a boss fight makes me think there's something to it. And of course, the final confirmation that the "Nowhere" you visit alone is indeed related to the ritual came from Catti during this chapter, saying she left Kris alone during the ritual.
