I found that any game mechanic that is tied to mechanoids is boring. Mechanoids as enemies are uninteresting because turns out end-game bullet sponges that feel no pain and have no feelings are boring. Mechanitors are a pain and turns combat into a low-risk endeavor since you can revive any downed mech. Wastepacks are also annoying.
