Apparently WD healers are extremely rare and considered extremely bad because the few times dps switches over to get a dungeon q they have no idea how to play it.However I have full heroic pve gear and heroic bloodforged gear from doing everything as wd heals, and as an arena and raid healer from several retail expansions, I consider it quite strong.AMA I guess, about wd heals or voodoo dps. I dont play shadow hunter because dead zone is gay as fuck and has no place with server settings like this.wd heals fully capable of healing heroics with as big of pulls as any tank can handle without getting one shotted or the dps gettinf one shotted by random exploding/aoeThey offer a 45 second cooldown 6 second aoe stun (great for mass pulls), party speed boost, party resource usage buff, huge raid cooldowns, and effectively zero dps of their own. Not sure if any healer dps will matter in heroics.Wd voodoo has 90% of its damage baked into its cooldowns and requires dot proliferation to do max damage, so its really quite awful for dungeon mass aoe style on ascension. However for "high risk" it can kill elites quickly, never suffer from any debuffs, and can invis sneak and grab all sorts of stuff like rare chests without fighting bosses. You can aoe farm certain types of elites, like scarlet guys, since they like to cast stuff and you can leech mana forever from them.There is also an "invincible" perma golem build in pve that gives you a golem (spell immunity/huge personal shield) every 20 seconds or so instead of 3 min as long as you continue to pull like 8 things at once and tick damage on them, but its a bit experimental and im working on it still.Shadow hunter is just marks hunter without a pet. Including the endless kiting of everything you would expect that entails. Its damage is comparable to voodoo in short burst but you cant just hold your ground with 100% spell pushback immunity and blast.Its a victim spec.
