The current end game crafting feels awful for weapons. Endless spamming of whittles until you get the right affix, a completely RNG and the only available approach which punishes those who are unlucky.I'm not promoting blatant deterministic crafting such as metamods in POE1, or the overpowered crafting of homogenizing omens (which conviniently brought back a significant player-base after the awful 0.2 league), but something at least as an alternative that isn't just slot machining until you hit the 1/70.I can say from personally experience, I have grinded a long time and wasted over 1600 divines to hit at least a +4 on my suffixes using both whittles and a combination of perfect and greater chaos orbs and it made me quit the league. Yes, sometimes that is luck and min-maxxing gear at this point should be costly. But, at the very least this level of crafting should not be purely rng or else most players will get gated out of the end game with no clear path to reach this.

Tablets really are the only weak link left in poe2's endgame. Drop them for adjusted idols (that can be crafted to some extent) and it's literally the perfect experience.
