I really hope they decide to salvage bungie by porting D1 to PC. I've enjoyed my time with D2 but the focus on buffs, debuffs and abilities that has been going on for the last 6 years has really rubbed me the wrong way. I recently had the opportunity to play D1 as my brother bought a PS5 and so much of the gameplay feels better and more fun than current day D2.

Same for using biotics to break magic shields, it'd create a biotic based explosion. Destiny used to have it where matching elemental damage to break shields would result in a small elemental explosion. Now it's been dumbed way down and you need to have proper weapon perks to get the same effect. Rock paper scissors with enemy and damage types is a fun enough mechanic when there's secondary effects, but just silver for beasts, steel for men is a pointless mechanic that doesn't impact gameplay and could be done away with entirely and not be noticed.

I need some more recommendations for Titan builds! I tried out the shatter build using the fighting Lion, and it feels like I am cheating desu. It's pretty fun though ngl. Any good ARC/Solar builds? I really enjoy how Rally Barricade functions now, and I was wondering if there is some viable builds that utilizes that? Thunderclap also feels great to use, and I tried it with Point-contact, and while it's cool as hell, I see the point that some anon made in an earlier thread that it sort of fights against itself since the lightning strikes tend to kill off most mobs before you can slap them
