I dreamed that Chapter 7 had a "theatrical release" that was just a silent longplay shown in theaters two weeks before the game was available on Steam. Even though no one wanted to, every serious fan still attended just so they wouldn't be spoiled online. None of the theories or mysteries were addressed. No but I'm actually really liking the idea that the knight is a monster who has Kris's soul because that explains why they're so powerful even in the Light World (they can presumably muscle Undyne and Asgore, two of the strongest monsters). The Deltarune mechanics don't quite work like Undertale (monsters possibly bleed, they can't do magic) but they also do work like Undertale to some degree (turn into dust when dead) so I think it's possible

I don't think it's possible for the red soul to be Kris's. For one thing, Gaster was the one who hooked us up with the red soul so unless he was just gonna leave Kris dead in a ditch while we played as the vessel it shouldn't be possible for us to have the same soul. There's the various connections between Kris and Cyan too. Somehow Kris and their evil bunker group chat co-conspirators knew about the red soul and its role in the prophecy and put it in Kris so they could manipulate the events of the game in their favor.

The Weird Route really is "weird." It seems the actual road to the "true ending" will be the Late Abandoned Weird Route, since the game hammers you constantly that you need to take a middle road.It obviously won't be Genocide Route 2.0 since neither Kris, YOU or Noelle are interested in killing people or destroying the world.It seems you'll be completely disconnected from the mainline story and instead be put in completely different locations with a separate cast.So it is a mystery wrapped inside an enigma.

But there's so many other things that you have to uncover yourself, some of which may not be so relevant to the main plot, but finding out the truth about them is the reward itself. How do you expect Toby to tell you what the mystery is about without revealing the mystery?

Removed from all context I'd have no problem with Susie/Noelle, and yes it is telegraphed repeatedly in earlier chapters. My problem with it is in context, it is less fun or interesting or compelling than the relationships (platonic or romantic) that it takes potential screen time from and even steps on. Kris & Susie's friendship is holistically better to see. Ralsei's weird sort-of-one-sided love for Kris is interesting to watch. Susie's (platonic atm) love for Ralsei is compelling and interesting because of him being a Darkner and all the baggage with that. Kris & Noelle, whether as friends or nascent lovers, is a lot more fun, just fucking around with her in ch2 was one of the game's best character sections. Susie/Noelle mostly takes what you like from other character pairings and appropriates or steps on them IMO.In the ch4 house section Noelle feels the need to "disown" a lot of her history with Kris to signal the reality that she is available to Susie. You see Kris visibly hurt. In chapter 5 they have Kris third wheel and then shut down Berdly from having ANYONE to hang out with at the festival lol. Susie makes Catti sob and end her friendship with Noelle. (Okay, this one is partly on Catti for sure, she's the one making it a line in the sand and clearly she had a crush on Noelle that she couldn't communicate. I just didn't love Noelle & Susie's reaction, it's more just an example of how the game has been intentionally written for this relationship to hurt so many people's feelings lol)Then at the lake we see Susie is having Noelle sing fry songs at the bench, something which in chapter 4 had been a thing Susie shared with Kris. But now Susie says "oh but it can nice to just be the two of us haha..." In chapter 4 you could have Susie and Kris share a great moment at the lake at night, then in chapter 5 Susie outright says she's not interested in Kris & Susie visiting that spot again with the implication that space is for Susie to be with Noelle now.

I dreamt about the release and the contents of Deltarune chapter 6. Toby was greedy this time and did a DLC model that I will explain later. The Dark World was the Holiday family home, the outside had sinnoh videogame nostalgia vibes (gen 4 pokemon) and the inside was an actual house of horrors. It had 2 main parts, an upper inside part that looked like it was charred, here 5 (3) characters chased you around like it was some sort of horror game, they were doppelgangers of the family, but they looked straight out of an analog horror thing, charred and unrecognizable, their eyes being the whitest part of the body: First were "Daddy" (Rudolph) and "Mommy" (Carol) which had a behavior where'd they'd try to corner you together like pac-man ghosts, then was the "Dog", which was an unrecognizable grey flesh mound on two legs with its tongue sticking out of a deformed mouth with sharp teeth which would chase you like there was no tomorrow, was faster than all the others, and that you had to trick in order for it to leave you alone, then there was "Daughter" (Noelle), which was a little doppelganger version of Noelle which stil had all the doppelganger features of her parents, and she would show up randomly when you were in a room to throw projectiles, then finally was the most controversial part: the 'Brothers", which were undiscernabke nen, one shorter and fatter, and one skinnier and taller that were included IN A DLC STYLE PAYMENT to add extra monsters to chase you around FOR 20$ dollars, their chase pattern was random. After unlocking the new room upstairs, you had to do one of 2 things before proceeding to it, either get into a battle with the "Brothers" and do a specific ACT with them (if you had bought the DLC), or have "Daughter" accidentally kill some guardian enemies with her projectiles (Non-DLC), and you would gain an item for this that looked like one of those papers you find on Chinese ghost's heads, which had the effect of repelling "Guardians". When you finally reached the room, there would be an encounter with two "Guardians" blocking the door, and you had to perform an ACT, depending on whether you had the DLC or not, either the brothers would appear and steal a thorn ring off of one of the Guardians and give it to you in a funny interaction (DLC), or you would steal it yourself with the Guardian being too scared to do anything because of your item. If you forgot to do the previous step, or don't ACT within 3 turns, you would lose the chance at getting the thorn ring, and if you had gotten one before, you would lose that one too (You felt your thornring falling out of your pocket). It seems to have been a secret way to either let the player get 2 rings, or to let someone on a pacifist playthrough get one.(2/2)

The spooky atmosphere and hair flip will probably get a main route follow up with the demon summoning stuff, but genuinely you're looking too deep to see what's right in front of you. Noelle lays it out in chapter 5; the point of that dialogue isn't that "you" the player are revealing yourself, the point is you're showing Noelle the "new Kris." The Kris that "changed" and "broke off their path." Basically all of these were nitpicks anyway and not actual narrative issues that clash with the story. My point isn't that toby is perfect my point is that your analysis skills are clearly lacking

She likes the rest of the prophecy, she's just in denial about the ending. She's no different than the people who doubt that Deltarune has only one ending.
