And some of the characters that were half-eldar have been explicitly re-written to be humans, which is another nod to them probably being generally not canon anymore. Pic related simply doesn't exist anymore, for example.So the short version is that indoctrinated humans hate them, but freethinkers do sometimes find them attractive. Objective narrator's word is that they are attractive.A LOT of the design cues for eldar were Tolkienesque elves, so they were always hot to the real world designers, but the setting is such that everyone hates each other and are super racist.
