It would be important that humanity and the empire be present so you can see and interact with them from an outside perspective, and be reacted to. Rogue Trader has a gross setting that I can't get past and I doubt I'll ever really play it. Wrath of the Righteous was good, but it's like a student film compared to Baldur's Gate.
