For support danchou with 3 buffs, I was wondering how much damage increase it actually is so tested it, with all 3 buffs up >Clarity DMG +15%, 20s duration>Veil Supp DMG +10%, 30s duration>Conducion max of DMG +10% and DMG cap +10% based on how much SBA gauge was given away, 30s durationThe total damage increase for someone else's endgame optimized character with all 3 of those buffs on an OD Fatebreaker enemy was around 29%. This is with using Conducion at max SBA distributable (30%), With 0% Conducion or using Substitute (+10% DMG cap) it'll be around 24% instead. Replacing Conducion with Substitute (+10% DMG cap while active) makes 100% substitute uptime possible. A bit suicidal though because you'll have substitute uptime without DMG cut active on other people from Phalanx, and the DMG buff is slightly worse than conducion.As far as buff uptime goes, if danchou has full uptime then all the buffs can be kept up 100%. With mixed downtime, Substitute or Phlanax's substitute can reduce CD enough to keep the buffs up if people get hit sometimes. Using Conducion off cooldown will grief your SBA though so you'll only end up doing 3 bursts most of the time unless you deliberately hold it, probably not worth it to hold though, just need blue pots for 1st and 2nd link time. Other issue is that people can be out of range for the buffs, specifically Clarity has an aiming circle so any Io and Tweyens probably won't get it.Personal damage is in the dumps though, like 2/3rds the damage of a DPS Cag. I built my danchou But much more potent damage buffs, debuff immunity, Phalanx's Substitute, and either more substitute uptuime or shared SBA gauge instead of Cag's turbo fast solo SBA.

I bought the game when the dlc came out and I just unlocked the fight against the bow bitch and dude with magic swords. The game warned me i should have a fully awakened terminus weapon first and I felt it. So I'm guessing this is when the grinding starts? >>574789437I won't say no to better tutorials, though a good rule thumb to remember is that Link Attacks usually help keep you on track for whatever gimmick your character uses (e.g. Perci can quick charge Schlatt++ from Link, Io gets an orb and can quick cast Stargaze, etc.). The dodging part varies on the actions you're taking but generally combos will hold through dodging. Never hurts to practice what works and what doesn't while beating on Barrold.
