You could grab two levels of Life Cleric for Disciple of Life and Preserve Life, hoping to get the best of both worlds, but the main limitation is that you'd lose out on Mass Healing Word - the bread and butter of a Life Cleric. (A Bard that dips into Life Cleric is an even more efficient support because they can access Mass Healing Word through Magical Secrets.) What would further limit your healing potential is the inconsistent application of Chalice. (https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Starry_Form:_Chalice#Notes) I would recommend either going with another character concept or accepting that you'd have to split your levels 7/5 or 6/6 to get Mass Healing Word. Do note that the goal of healing in BG3 is really to apply buffs such as Blade Ward rather than keep everyone topped off. Chalice's 1d8 + WIS modifier healing might feel redundant by the time you reach Act 3. I'd stick with Dragon, but that's just me.
