I was doing a new run wiht AMP+REL, but i didn't really like the changes he made with the latest patch, you get so few items now, and the new capsule system ironically just makes it less random, which in turn makes it less fun. I still haven't done a run with the PHB 2024 all in one mod because i heard it has a lot of homebrew cringe in it, but maybe i should? There's also chocolate mode but i'm also a bit iffy on that one.

Act 2 also shines in character-specific interactions as well. Some of them are evident if you think a bit, others are not so. Make sure to have Karlach and Wyll in your party upon first entering the Inn or explore Moonrise with the Karlach, Astarion, Gale trio and you'll see what I mean. Very minor stuff but I marked them as spoiler regardless.

What are the reasons to pick the champion subclass of fighter?Also, how do you best utilize the protection fighting style? Do you just equip a shield and then buddy up with whoever has the lowest AC, because it seems like that would be a wizard/sorcerer and they probably shouldn't be anywhere near enemies anyway.
