I finally just gave up and just grabbed a VSS to use as a sidearm to my SR, though honestly I probably should have just made a second SR with the short barrel since the medium, or long I can't remember, is required to one tap the snipers and armored dudes but isn't great for building clearing, but full auto just destroys your guns durability way too fast even setting aside carrying the ammo required to feed it.

Pic related did me extremely well from sec 2 until I hit sec 4. After that you can make whatever you want. The gear curve with sec levels it really steep though. It really needs a bunch more spread out but without padding the fuck out of the game with more side missions there isn't much point. You don't really get enough money to buy every gun and slowly work your way up anyway. I can't think of a better way to do it with how the game is set up. I do like how the receiver is unlocked a sec level above every other part of the gun. That's at least a good idea so you can use the stashed variants and get your attachments ready for an upgrade. But when you actually get there you get such a massive array of new shit that it's not really worth upgrading just the receiver when you could get a whole new gun. The scope of the game would have to be bigger too if they were going to pad it out like that. Another area would probably be enough.

One will be the headset/system button, the other will be your PCVR/streaming environment button, so what's the game's fucking menu button? The solution so far has been to consume one of the only 4 face buttons we have on the left controller.So many games expect you to have a dpad for menu roses or inventory.Stuff that needs independent controls on the left and right hand can often be mapped to the grip button, which is so easily pressed and naturally pressed when holding something. It's the most specialized dedicated button in the world because its only good for grabbing, yet its constantly a developer trap to put things on it because they have little choice. The frame has dual stage grips to at least require a squeeze.Shoulder buttons are commonly used for paging in menu navigation. More importantly, it's just a button that's independently on the left and right controller that's not a grip button and it's not a trigger. It's weird oculus had the sense to introduce analog sticks with the touch controller, but not include these buttons.TLDR if you hate have unusable controllers is an amazing display going to be worth it.
