It even introduced some bugs because of it, like the stats menu not really working the same as it did in Undertale. Functions such as gaining EXP or the LV system and whatnot are still somewhat present, but so completely broken they may as well not exist. You can modify the values, but they do nothing. The name change easter egg still exists (Easy to change, huh?) but was replaced with a bunch of question marks. As for the battle system itself, it was entirely replaced by the Dark World battle system, and no remnants of the old system exist save for the sound effects and some shared code between bullet patterns.
