As a matter of fact, if your character has a low throw, then you have even more options on their wakeup. In a game like Virtua Fighter, if you time the low throw correctly, you can hit the opponent out of their wakeup side recovery with the low throw, then get very strong Ukemizeme that loops back into Okizeme.As I'm sure you probably already know, it's generally better to block high in a 3d game, so attempting a meaty low that has good reward is a viable option. And from there, you can condition them to start trying to guard low on wakeup, then land the mid attack that you actually want to use in order to punish their crouch. On the other hand, you may just want to use a strong plus on block option that hits meaty and then puts the opponent in a frame trap situation.You’ll probably need to go into training mode to find out more specific stuff, but that’s the long and short of it. I recommend watching match footage to see what other players do.
