Is there any saving tokon? Any changes they could make, even if its like season 2 type of thing, that would make it less cookie cutter and boring? It's just a beta, but it just feels like they did bare minimum. Pretty game, nice fan service for comic fans, but every combo feels like generic magic series. Assists feel like they are just tacked on. Stage transitions/wall breaks are cancer. So fucking obnoxious playing stages like knowhere or almost any with multiple transitions. Just one combo and wall break. It's fucking retarded in strive too but no where near as bad as this. Netplay was also atrocious. I think it might just be matching with pc players and the lag from shit show there, but so many underwater feeling matches despite it saying 5 bars when accepting the match. Hope this at least gets fixed before release. No other fighter is like this for me. Goblin only character that really felt like a unique character to me. The glider stuff into bomb setup felt like lot of freedom to do work. Storm has potential too with the wind gauge. Some rachel-like nonsense could develop. Might be worth having to swap in, dump meter and tag out. Glider meter just takes forever to come back if you do a big combo with.

Oki is good. You should in fact be rewarded for playing well, yes. If the opponent can't put in the effort to escape your setup and defend properly, that's the exact same thing as them refusing to learn how to do combos. It's a skill you need.
