What's kind of sad though is that it seems like from the iX series kidnapping the Muse is actually the best thing to do for the world against the dragon mess. Pretty messed up world, this setting is. The best outcome is probably to have Joule/Mytyl willingly use their power to stop the dragons in a way that doesn't involve a giant brain. Maybe they could give Null the Muse septima or something, have that be be the purpose she's looking for.
