I give Lostbelt 7 a 4/10. IMO, it was insanely overrated, and I didn't care for the awful pacing, the insane amount of info dumps (how many fucking times are you going to give me a 50 paragraph schizo info dump about extinction, Nasu?), the Dinos, the long-winded ORT fight, Camazotz, or the heroines (Olga, Kuku, City, the 4 Alter Goddesses) that Nasu tried so desperately hard for me to make me like. Really, the only part of the story I actually liked was Daybit's backstory, the Chaldea twist, Motecuhzomaa's backstory, and Izcalli's parts (all of which were kino). Overall, I truly believe this is the worst story I've ever read that Nasu put out.

Found a "funny" reliable 4T auto-farming comp for my Ciel.>Habenyan>Koyan>Ciel>Atlas MC>Habenyan NP wave 1 -> Ciel NP waves 2+3The reason it's "funny" is because it's actually 3T comp *but* only if you get a 5* gacha CE on Habenyan to lv 21+ because you need the little extra +ATK from the CE for it because otherwise there's a chance to be off by a couple hundred HP on every giant on wave 1 with the NP. It's rare but still a thing. Of course if you grailed your Habenyan or whatever, it's not an issue but if yours is only lv 80 NP5 like mine, it totally is.So what I do is facecard turn 1, and then start pressing buttons on turn 2 and I finish on turn 4 guaranteed because even if I get the worst case low damage rolls, the face cards will kill the giants no matter what as long as i make sure to assign them to two different Servants. Even if I get fucked over by RNG and they're all facecards of one Servant, I can just do card-NP-card to guarantee wave 1 in one turn. It means I'll have to babysit every run so FGA doesn't fuck up but it's okay, the only reason I use it is because I hate the tedium of pressing the same 9-15 buttons per run, not the facecarding.I'm just happy to have an excuse to use Habenyan in a farming comp. She's been bond 6 ever since I got her and I never managed to find a way to fit her into any farming grind until now because either I couldn't get her to work as NP5 lv 80, or there were cost issues where she could work if I included like 3-4 support Servants but I needed to squeeze in a 5* for bonding so I couldn't go with it. We're on a mostly trivial fetchquest facing the leftovers and loose ends from the main part of the story in chapters that are smaller, less substantive and less consequential than proper story episodes without being completely disposable the way that main interludes like Tunguska are.This is obviously stalling and it's obvious these stories are basically standalone instead of connecting meaningfully to each other the way that the LBs did, and that's clear from the simple fact that we can start OC 3 without touching OCs 1 and 2.But technically speaking the pace of release is much faster that it was during most of the Lostbelts where we got 1 story chapter every year-ish and these bite-sized bits of filler are obviously just meant to give us some semblance of content while we wait for Part 3. And just like Shimousa or Heian-Kyo, nobody will judge you for just hitting SKIP.

>>575453572The problem I had with OC2 is that I couldn't get invested in it because the premise has a very bad synergy with the story.The chapter obviously aims to focus on some sort of mental distress and emotional conflict. but the stakes are low (and I'm generous here by not saying "nonexistent") because everything happens inside your head.So I really didn't feel any emotional pressure, which was the main intent.It would have worked a lot better if you were actually sent to some singularity, and there you met a surrogate family, and then they got all murdered.The same way you feel bad for lots of NPCs during the Lostbelt, I still remember Gerda, Patxi, Tepeu, the soccer bros...But I can't feel bad because a memory shaped after Da Vinci is killed in a dream realm subconscient.

OC2 is like... an anger-and-revenge version of "You wouldn't download a car"You got traumatized, forced to endure circumstances beyond your control, the world is dead for a second time and this time with no obvious solution...and you have an ad about how "Anger and Revenge doesn't help, Avengers aren't fit to be your Servants and they will fuck off...except for all the other Avengers who are perfectly fine to remain and help you"It is even more stupid when you consider we have Beast servants and they are perfectly fine.
I feel like the most charitable interpretation of OC2 is: "Revenge is acceptable, but wasting your entire life on it to the exclusion of all other joy is overkill"
