For those multi-boss quests it seems like on-kill drops from the last enemy simply do not get picked up because the quest just ends. Maglielle is the last boss in The General Assembly, and in four dragons people are more likely to kill the fire dragon first, then the earth dragon. So you end up with lost of ice, wind and fire mats and 0 earth mats.

So roses need to be close to the boss and within player range at all times for max output. It gets worse at Essence tier 3 when you have to consider overlapping rose zones to get full effect of your buffs, compounded on by the possibility of bosses moving around in the first place, so buff coverage can be spotty at times depending on several variables you may not be able to control. This can become a clusterfuck if your roses somehow reset to level 1 for one reason or another.For Link Time, it's usually just some combo of Spiral Rose and Lost Love if you've got them. If nothing else, combo finisher D so your roses auto attack more with you (and also applies debuffs/buffs from Essence tree) and whatever buffs you need. Roses will stay at lvl 4 during LT so using Lost Love doesn't set you back here, but using it outside LT without a means to recover them (Bouquet/Sillage/Iron Maiden/Spiral Rose) will set you back. Personally I probably wouldn't run Lost Love at all with Essence since buff upkeep is vital, though your damage output will be much lower.Crux tree I'm not even going to humor because getting those self-buffs doesn't sound good if they don't do much for your rose damage.

Lost Love, Spiral Rose, Iron Maiden, and Rose Tycoon are about all you need (potentially Bouquet instead of Rose Tycoon if you just need roses in front of you and other benefits). Her buffs aren't the biggest focus this way but they're still serviceable in the moment.
